NTR's DEATH A CURSE TO THE FAMILY

Death[edit]

NTR died of a heart attack on 18 January 1996 at his residence in Hyderabad, aged 72.[2] He was cremated and his ashes were immersed at Srirangapatna by his second wife eight years later, in 2004.

Are the members of NTR family undergoing a bad phase? Look at some of the incidents which happened in the recent past. N Jayakrishna, elder son of late NTR is now neck-deep in family disputes, and his daughter has recently committed suicide. Another son N. Sai Krishna, who had been hospitalised for more than three years, died a few days ago. N. Hari Krishna, who is doing better now in films after a brief political stint, is facing financial constraints. Now, the latest is N Balakrishna, who was involved in a firing incident. His family is in thick of controversy over the firing episode. Going by a series of incidents being associated with the members of NTR family, it gives one an impression that members of NTR family are facing shapam (curse) of N T Rama Rao. Otherwise, why did so many tragic incidents take place after the demise of NTR! The family members, it is learnt, have continuously been facing problems ever since their father passed away. They are not in good terms with each other like they used to be when their father was alive. (Discuss: Telugu producers should take tough action against Balakrishna, including a boycott of his films.) Tragic death for associates The going has been tough for some staunch followers of NTR as well. Some known faces, who were close associates of NTR, had met with tragic incidents and died a few years ago. They include former Home Minister A Madhava Reddy (killed by naxalites), former Home Minister Indra Reddy (killed in road mishap) and former Lok Sabha Speaker Balayogi (killed in air-crash). What is more? Noted actress Soundarya died in an air crash near Bangalore. The tragedy struck her while she was acting in a prestigious film, Narthana Shala, in which she was apparently starring with Balakrishna. One cannot forget these incidents and these personalities as they brought cheers to some, giving inspiration to many. Everyone will die one day. One can say it is all myth, but something unique is behind all these incidents. However, it is a different in the case of Balakrishna and his family. The firing incident has sent shock waves across the film industry. Perhaps it could be the first incident in the Telugu Film Industry that a reel hero was involved in the mysterious crime. Though the law will take its own course of action, the fans of Nandamuri family are quite unhappy with the incidents that bring the family members a tough time. There is a solution for every problem. Let’s hope time will bring cheer to `the hero family
